Welcome to the virtual home of Westside Baptist Church student ministry!
We call ourselves Lighthouse because of Jesus' words in Matthew 5:14-16 (ESV) “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
We desire to shine light up through worship, to shine a light in through fellowship, and to shine a light out through missions and witnessing.
Our purpose is to take the counter-cultural message of Jesus Christ and His Gospel to a lost and dying world, making an impact for eternity by bringing the Truth to our friends, co-workers, teachers, coaches, and families.
